Astana. January 19. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held the meeting with the chairman of the board of the Savings Bank of Russia, Herman Gref, on Saturday, January 17th, the agency reports citing the message of the press service of prime minister of Kazakhstan.

According to the press service, the chairman of the board of the Savings Bank of Russia informed the Prime Minister on participation of the Russian delegation along with Samruk-Kazyna Fund, consisting of the representatives of the state bodies, scientists and businessmen, in "brain storming" held in Astana. The event was devoted to joint development of the measures on overcoming of the current crisis as well as forming of the long-term cooperation on realization of the joint projects, which will help diversification of the economy of two countries and will provide greater stability of the economy of Kazakhstan and Russia.

"At the meeting the parties discussed a number of projects on manufacture of innovative products on the basis of further processing of raw materials, which both of the countries posses in abundance," the prime minister's press service informs.

"The parties came to a common opinion on the necessity of maintenance of close cooperation and concentration of their efforts on realization of the innovative projects," the press release states.
