Astana. June 27. Kazakhstan Today - Astana economic forum will promote further strengthening of integration processes in the Eurasian space. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stated in his salutatory speech read by the president's advisor on economic affairs Aset Isekeshev at the opening ceremony of Astana Economic Forum - Modern aspects of economic development in conditions of Globalization, the agency reports.

"This forum will become widely known and a useful dialogue platform for exchange of opinions on a wide spectrum of questions of modern economy. Astana economic forum will allow providing assistance in further strengthening of integration processes in the Eurasian space, discussing of key questions of economic development, gathering world known scientists to come up with the adequate responses to the existing challenges in the world," N. Nazarbayev's salutation word states.

"I believe that discussion of specific issues during the forum will strengthen the role of the Eurasian region in solution of actual problems of economy and security. I hope that carrying out of this forum in Kazakhstan will lay the foundation for the beginning of long-term cooperation. I wish all participants success and fruitful work," the document says.
